Conclusions
The use of an EC on the basis of RESs makes it possible to reduce considerably the effect of such a negative property of such plants as the variability and uncertainty of the energy resource supply. Here the diversity of the nature of formation of energy resources plays an important role compensating the nonuniformity of each of them.
Formalization of the design procedure is quite important for its automation, and the use of artificial intelligence methods permits broadening the sphere of using CAD elements.
The method of modeling an EC with RESs developed by the authors has broad application to problems of optimizing the structure of power-generating facilities and to a description of the EC and all of the power plants composing it.
