Comparison of different techniques for processing evoked potentials

Abstract

A comaprison is made of three techniques for processing evoked potentials. These techniques are conventional signal averaging, crosscorrelation averaging and latency corrected averaging. Results obtained for 20 subjects are shown in the Appendix and the results for two of the subjects are analysed in detail.

Une comparaison est faite entre trois techniques de traitement des potentiels évoqués. Ces techniques sont le calcul de la moyenne de signaux conventionnels, de la moyenne de corrélations croisées et de moyennes corrigées en fonction de la latence. Les résultats obtenus sur vingt sujets sont indiqués en annexe et les résultats pour deux de ces sujets analysés détail.

Zusammenfassung

Es werden drei Verfahren zur Verarbeitung evozierter Potentiale verglichen. Bei diesen Verfahren handelt es sich um die Signal-Mittelbildung, die Kreuzkorrelations-Mittelbildung und die latenzkorrigierte Mittelbildung. Die bei 20 Versuchspersonen erhaltenen Ergebnisse werden im Anhang aufgeführt, und in zwei Fällen werden die Ergebnisse genau analysiert.
