Conclusions

  1. 1.

In the case of a limited content of sand in tailings (<30%) hydraulic filling of a tailings dump with the formation of a sand beach of sufficient length is possible, provided that the maximum bulk density of the hydraulic mixture is not exceeded (not above≥70% sand deposition for the investigated tailings dumps).

  2. 2.

The results obtained are applicable under conditions similar to those which were investigated and can be used in the case of hydraulic filling of earth.
