Summary

Experiences have shown that bandages made of ultraviolet-sensitive synthetic resin offer in various treatments important advantages to conventional plaster casts. The further scientific improvement of the material and the technical equipment is expected to increase the use in the immediate future.

Zusammenfassung

Erfahrungen bei Verbänden aus lichtempfindlichen Kunstharzbinden zeigen, daß dieses Material bei den verschiedenen Indikationen dem herkömmlichen Gips gegenüber wichtige Vorteile bietet. Eine weitere technische Vervollkommnung von Material und technischem Zubehör läßt erwarten, daß die Anwendbarkeit im Laufe der nächsten Zeit noch erweitert wird.
