Abstract
The possibility of determining the concentration of basic substance and H 2SO4 and Na2SO4 impurities in technical-grade chitosan sulfate (CS) was demonstrated. Water-ethanol solution containing 80±10% ethanol of the volume of the titratable mixture is the optimum medium for titration of technical-grade CS.
