Abstract
Recently, we have shown that in YBa2Cu3O7−σ, Fe substitutes Cu(1) in different oxygen configurations. This result has been obtained using uniaxially oriented poweder. In this paper, we discuss these results in connexion with new measurements. Finally we compare the effect of different metallic impurities on the physical properties of these superconducting oxides.
