100Rh pac study of the critical region of Co: The lessons learned

Applications of Hyperfine Interactions to Physics of Condensed Matter


Observations of hyperfine fields over 295<T<1330 K and relaxation spectra above Tc demonstrate the feasibility of measuring static and dynamic critical exponents with sources of100PdCo. These PAC experiments promise to clarify current discrepancies between measured exponents and theory in Co once source contamination problems are resolved.
