Abstract
The ribbon spinning method has been used to prepare samples containing enhanced fractions (∼ 3–6 at%) of iron precipitates in the fcc γ-phase fromCuFe alloys containing 5, 10 and 16 at% Fe. Details of the procedure, heat treatments and data analysis are presented. The behaviour of the intensity ratio parameter in applied field spectra (0–5.2 T) obtained below the antiferromagnetic ordering temperature of γ-Fe is also examined.
