John Ambrose is on the graduate faculty of the University of Guelph, and until recently was curator of The Arboretum. He is involved in many North American conservation organizations and is a member of the Grand River Conservation Authority.

Fred J. Brenner is a professor of biology at Grove City College, Grove City, Pennsylvania, and serves as a consultant on environmental concerns to both governmental agencies and private industry. Dr. Brenner is a Certified Senior Ecologist and a Certified Wildlife Biologist.
