Abstract

This article is a follow-up to the article of A. Pyaskovskii and Z. Koval'skii entitled “An Example of Impervious Cutoff Walls Constructed with Thixotropic Slurries in the Polish People's Republic,” published in Gidrotekhnicheskoe Stroitel'stvo, No. 7, 1969, in which the construction of two similar cutoff walls was described. This article provides additional information concerning experiences the Polish People's Republic considered important to the placement of impervious cutoff walls which lately have had wide application in hydrotechnical construction.
