Abstract
In many cases behavior of irradiated alloys is determined by the formation and evolution of the primary damaged zones in the alloys. There are several mechanisms responsible for these processes. One of them is the atomic separation of the alloy species in the cascade zone which can be directly examined by Mössbauers spectroscopy of the primary knocked-on atoms. In this report we summarize some results of measurements on amorphous alloys and intermetallic compounds.
