Abstract
Mössbauer spectroscopy has been used for determination of the chemical composition of iron containing particles of atmospheric aerosol. Seasonal varlations of the iron concentration in the atmosphere were investigated. The Mössbauer technique allowed to suggest the possible sources of iron in the air.
