Jef Raskin lives in Solana Beach, CA.

He is a specialist in Renaissance French and Latin literature and in the history of printing in the 15th and 16th centuries. He has worked with computers on reconstruction of textual stemmata, dialectology, syntax, and has helped to teach a humanities programming course in each of the past three years.

has prepared concordances of Flaubert’s Madame Bovaryand Pascal’s Pensées.He is now working on other concordances to Flaubert and to Pascal.

is editor of A Concordance to the Plays of William Congreve.

is responsible for coordination of the University’s statewide network and also manages User Services for the Computer Center and the network.
