Abstract
57Fe Mössbauer spectra for a natural single crystal of ludlamite have been recorded at temperatures between room temperature and 4.2 K. Computer analysis reveals that at 4.2 K the Fe2+ moments lie on two distinct magnetic sublattices separated by at least 35°.
