Abstract
The thermal decomposition of cesium tris(oxalato)ferrate(III) dihydrate in nitrogen has been studied using Mössbauer spectroscopy, thermogravimetric and differential thermal analyses. The mechanisms of the various stages in the decomposition are discussed and correlated to the results of the Mössbauer measurements.
