Abstract
Upon injection of spin-polarized positive muons into cycloheptatriene three radicals have been observed by transverse field μSR. The temperature dependence of the relaxation rates have been interpreted in terms of a rapid inversion process. The Arrhenius parameters have been determined and an isotope effect with respect to the barrier height of the inversion has been found.
