Abstract

Scanning electron microscopy of vitrectomy material shows a disintegrated vitreous fibril network which is partly replaced by newly formed collagen fibers and invaded cells.

Zusammenfassung

Die rasterelektronenmikroskopische Untersuchung von Vitrektomiematerial nach durchbohrenden Augenverletzungen zeigt, daß das Glaskörperfasersystem vergröbert ist. Teilweise wird es durch neugebildetes Kollagen und Zellen ersetzt.
