Extra-osseous localisation of99Tcm methylene diphosphonic acid (MDP) in a primary neuroblastoma

Abstract

A case of primary neuroblastoma in a seven year old boy is presented in which99Tcm methylene diphosphonic acid (MDP) used as a bone scanning agent localised in the primary tumour. The possible mechanism for this is discussed.
