B. Meerschweinchen, Ratte).
Summary
There is a description of a simple freezing method for making endothelian and epithelian membrane preparations which are likewise adapted for rendering endothelium and pigmentepithelium of the iris.
-
1.
Applicability to supravital colouring on unfixed material or to other investigations (e.g. divers histochemical methods).
-
2.
Simple and rapid realizability on cellular structures in good condition, although single cellular losses may not be avoided completely.
-
3.
Obtaining of complete endothelial cell layers not only from men and rabbits but also from other little laboratory animals (e.g. guinea pigs, rats etc.).
