Hydrotechnical Construction Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

The Chirkey formwork complex can be used under rigorous climatic conditions, since the design of the formwork permits using any insulation, including insulated panels of the Ust'-Ilim type, that are left on the concrete, and also a canopy resting on the panels of the lower, lift. The entire complex provides safe conditions during formwork operations.

  2. 2.

To increase the service life of the formwork and reduce labor costs, the formwork must be manufactured by specialized plants with minimum size allowances.

  3. 3.

At the construction of the Chirkey dam the adopted direction of improving formwork operations by mechanization and automation of the transposition of formwork having a most simple design by creating a special transposer minimizes labor expenditures during operation with comparatively small initial expense, by virtue of which it is the most realistic direction and therefore should find use at other construction projects.
