Conclusions

  1. 1.

    The water power resources of the Enisei basin are highly effective and their utilization should be accomplished as the integrated power system of Central Siberia develops and in close combination with the construction of thermal electric power stations utilizing Kansk-Achinsk coals.

  2. 2.

    The utilization of the water-power resources of the Enisei basin should be combined with industrial utilization and development of new regions on the basis of local raw materials.

  3. 3.

    The development of the timber industry in the northern regions of Krasnoyarsk Krai should be accomplished with consideration and in full accordance with long-range water-power construction.

  4. 4.

    The formation of territorial-industrial complexes planned in combination with water-power construction should be done with consideration of the need to create agricultural lands around them.
