Conclusions

  1. 1.

    The construction of permanent walls of reinforced Gunite and prestressed reinforced-concrete anchors reduces the consumption of materials and labor expenditures, which leads to a considerable economic advantage.

  2. 2.

    The simplified wall design permits working the lower levels of the chamber without stopping side excavation, which shortens the construction time.
