Conclusion

The examined directions of scientific and technical progress in the area of underground hydraulic construction are promising and can be very effective technically and economically. Considerable experience has presently been gained in the operation of large-section underground hydraulic structures. Generalization of this experience will per-mit a significant improvement in methods of designing and constructing these structures.
