Abstract
Eriborus trochanteratus Morley, is a larval parasite ofNephantis serinopa Meyr. in Sri Lanka. The life-cycle and habits of the parasite are described and a detailed description is given of a technique evolved for the laboratory mass-breeding ofEriborus on an alternative host viz.Corcyra cephalonica Staint. Its effectiveness in the field and its natural enemies in Sri Lanka are also briefly discussed.
