Summary
A serious attack onPirus and some ornamentalRosaceae by the white flySiphoninus phillyreae Halid. was recently recorded in the province of Thessaloniki. About 20 per cent of the white fly population was parasitized byEretmocerus corni Hald. Described from America, the Aphelinid, was not found in Europe up till now.
