On the fractal nature of frequency dispersion of the impedance of the interface tellurium/electrolyte

Abstract

The results of an experimental investigation of the frequency dispersion of the impedance (Z) of the electric double layer of the interface tellurium/electrolyte are discussed. It is shown that the impedance components (R,C) in this case have a fractional — degree dependence. It is concluded that the frequency dispersion of impedance reflects its multifractal nature. This is considered to be the reason which results in the fractional-degree dependence of the impedance. It is shown that the relaxation processes, which are connected with the dielectric permittivity in the space-charge region of tellurium, play the basic role
