Abstract

This article describes five basic problems on substantial improvement of accuracy by using a pair of measured signals. The criterion for information content is based on the mean value of the relative distances between centers of adjacent ovals of equal probability density for scattering signals, as expressed in terms of the dimensions of the ovals. The algorithms consider the two least distances from a measured point to the centers of the ovals.
