Résumé

L'éthologie et l'écologie deEphedrus pulchellus stelfox ont éé étudiées en Tchécoslovaquie. Cette espèce est un représentant caractéristique du type d'habitat forêt-pare. Ce parasite polyphage s'attaque aux divers pucerons qui provoquent l'enroulement des feuilles de leur plante hôte. Son efficacité et son importance économique sont profondément in fluencées par l'existence d'un pourcentage élevé de nymphes en diapause. Ce fait est un cas typique de l'adaptation d'un parasite au cycle évolutif de son hôte: la période estivale pendant laquelle l'habitat est dépourvu d'hôte acceptable pour le parasite est passée à l'état de diapause par cclui-ci.
