Cette note est une mise au point sur la taxonomie et le régime alimentaire des dix espèces deStethorus connues en Océanie:Stethorus vagans Blkb,S. incompletus Whitehead,S. nigripes Kapur,S. loxtoni Britton & Lee,S. proximus n. sp.,S. gutierrezi n. sp.,S. bifidus Kapur,S. griseus Whitehead,S. fijiensis Kapur, etS. siphonulus Kapur. Les affinités morphologiques de ces espèces sont principalement occidentales.
Summary
Ten species ofStethorus are known from Oceania:Stethorus vagans Blkb,S. incompletus Whitehead,S. nigripes Kapur,S. loxtoni Britton & Lee,S. proximus n. sp.,S. guiterrezi n. sp.,S. bifidus Kapur,S. griseus Whitehead,S. fijiensis Kapur andS. siphonulus Kapur. This work is a restatement on their identity and on their prey. Most of them display morphological features found in western species.
