Summary
A comparative study of soybean lectin binding byRhizobium japonicum 61A76 grown in yeast extract mannitol medium supplemented with soil extract showed that it produced cells with greater lectin binding capacity, larger cell size and a higher percentage of coccoid forms than those produced in yeast extract mannitol medium alone.
