Résumé
Deux méthodes sont proposées pour la recherche du pouvoir chitinolytique et du pouvoir lipolytique chezBacillus thuringiensis. Les résultats de 273 souches appartenant à tous les sérotypes montrent que la chitine est irrégulièrement attaquée mais que le Tween 80 l'est presque toujours. L'étude de ces caractères est prévue pour toutes les espèces du genreBacillus.
Summary
Two methods are described for studying the chitinolytic and the lipolytic activities ofB. thuringiensis. The results obtained with 273 isolates belonging to all the serotypes show that the attack of chitin is variable but the attack of Tween 80 is almost constant. These characters have to be studied among the whole species of genusBacillus.
