Zusammenfassung

Der zweite Teil der Arbeit behandelt das Chitinskelett vonLaricobius erichsonii Rosenh. Die hier gegebene detaillierte Beschreibung bezieht sich auf die Imago, alle Larvenstadien und die Puppe; sie wird durch Zeichnungen ergänzt. Diese deskriptive Behandlung des Chitinskelettes ist als Grundlage für weitere Untersuchungen über die Verwandtschaftsbeziehungen innerhalb derDerodontidae gedacht. Von praktischer Bedeutung für die biologische Bekämpfung sind diese Studien insofern, als die morphologische Kenntnis eingeführter Nutzinsekten dazugehört, um später deren Ansiedlung und Ausbreitung im neuen Lebensraum durch Bestimmung gesammelter Vollkerfe oder Larven verfolgen zu können.
