Summary
By evaluating 10.313 titles of the last ten issues of the Bibliography on Biological Control it was attempted to demonstrate some trends in biological control. Publications on autocidal control show the highest rate of increase when compared in percentage (8,3×). Some lower rates of increase could be found in other groups, such as microbiological control and integrated control. Increasing are also the absolute numbers of publications on other methods of biological control, but their fraction decreases slightly in per cent of the total annual literature evaluated.
