Application of the method of microlocal parameters to problems of periodic thermoelastic composites

Materials Science Aims and scope

Abstract

We present a survey of the results obtained by applying the method of microlocal parameters to the problems of modeling of periodic elastic and thermoelastic composites. The solutions of boundary-value problems for periodic bodies obtained within the framework of homogenized models with microlocal parameters are also presented and discussed. The deduced model equations describe composites with periodic structure but are in no case more complicated than the corresponding equations for homogeneous bodies.
