Abstract

In the framework of the nonlocal theory of elasticity we determine the stresses caused by a circular rotational dislocation loop in an unbounded body. In contrast to the solution of the corresponding problem in the classical theory of elasticity, the stress field is regular at all points of the medium, including the line of dislocation.
