Abstract
The analysis of winding equipment shows that the bobbin-winding machines from Schweiter, Barmag, and Hacoba, and the domestic BP-260-V, BP-340-O, and M-600-T machines are the most productive and high-speed. The machines from the different firms have different configurations and winding speeds and are adapted for winding yarm of different linear density in packs weighing from 2 to 8 kg. Winding machines in which the yarn is delivered from bottom to top are the most convenient to use. All of the machines offer a precision cross winding structure. The digital (step) winding on Barmag and Schweiter machines is of the most interest for maintaining stable winding.
