Summary
The antibiotic cycloheximide (10 μg/ml) inhibits the light-induced transients of membrane potential of green cells inOenothera-leaves, while photosynthesis (measured by O2-evolution,14CO2-fixation and light-induced pH-changes in the external medium) and respiration remain unaffected under the same conditions.
