‘Rodlet cells’ inCatostomus commersonnii (Teleostei: Pisces): Secretory cell or parasite?

Zusammenfassung

Eigenartige Zellen mit stäbchenförmigen, cytoplasmatischen Einschlüssen wurden in verschiedenen Geweben (Epithelien der Kiemen, Gallengänge, Nierenkanälchen und Därme) des KnochenfischesCatostomus commersonnii gefunden. Histologische und histochemische Untersuchungen deuten darauf hin, dass diese sehr wahrscheinlich Parasiten sind.
