Summary
The mathematical content of a simple modelTUBERS predicting the graded yield and development of potatoes is summarised. The operation of this model using a pocket calculator is demonstrated using a systematic tabular computing scheme and a set of tables. The facilities available in a personal computer programTUBERS PC based on this model are described.
