Summary
The reasons for making this study, to determine the haematology and histopathology of an infection caused by one species of trypanosome in one species of animal in the absence of intercurrent disease and other complicating factors, have been detailed. A histopathological examination suggested the presence of a chronic low-grade toxaemia and an anaemic hypoxia.
