Summary
Potato plants with symptoms similar to stolbur were observed in a representative sample collected in trials ofUp-to-Date virus-free stocks grown in Upper Galilee. Grafting on tomatoes gave the symptoms of stolbur as described by various authors. No mechanical transmission was obtained; vector transmission has not yet been tried.
