Abstract
Dynamic scaling arguments to derive the exponent for critical slowing down near the Curie point are reviwed. The determinations of this exponent by neutron scattering, hyperfine interactions and sound attenuation are discussed. The hyperfine interaction observations are used to make a prediction about the sound attenuation experiments.
