Clinico-radiographic studies on central squamous cell carcinomas of the mandible

Conclusion

The followings are the noteworthly points of this study;

  1. 1.

    Central squamous cell carcinomas of the mandible were classified into three types, such as cystic, infiltrative and rarefying according to their radiographic features.

  2. 2.

    In the cystic type, the intervals from clinical onset to the first visit were longer than that of the other types.

  3. 3.

    The cystic type had better prognosis than the other types.
