Sommario
Si presenta una formulazione basata sul metodo degli spostamenti per analizzare travature spaziali imperfettamente elastiche, nella cui risposta siano dominanti gli effetti non lineari che sviluppano instabilità della struttura. Si usano forze e deformazioni aggiuntive permantenere la simmetria della descrizione agrangiana del sistema. Si usano metodi perturbativi per formulare il problema agli incrementi finiti. La potenza delle forze esterne viene usata come variabile di controllo nel procedimento di soluzione numerica, scelto in maniera da massimizzare la lunghezza del passo ed atto ad identificare e risolvere la presenza di punti critici nella curva di equilibrio.
Summary
A displacement method based formulation is presented to perform the analysis of imperfect elastic space trusses, in the response of which the nonlinear effects developing pre- and post-instabilization of the structure are dominant. Additional forces and deformations are used to preserve symmetry in the lagrangian description of the governing system. Perturbation methods are used to formulate the finite incremental problem. The external work rate is used as control variable in the numerical solution procedure, which is designed to maximize the step length and capable of identifying and solving the occurrence of critical points in the equilibrium path.
