Zusammenfassung

Die Anwendung des Nomogramms ist möglich bei bekannter Lebensgeschichte des dünungserzeugenden Windfeldes; die praktische Handhabung wird anhand von Beispielen erläutert. Grundlagen der Konstruktion sind die Seegangsdiagramme von H. Walden [1955/56] und die Laufzeitformel (6) dieser Arbeit.

Summary

The nomogram discussed on the following pages may be applied whenever the history of the swell generating wind area is known. Its practical handling is explained by way of example, its construction bases on the diagrams for sea and swell designed by H. Walden [1955/56] and on the formula (6) given in this paper.

Résumé

Le nomogramme traité dans le travail actuel se laisse appliquer au calcul de la largeur du spectre de périodes dans le cas où l'évolution de l'aire génératrice créant la houle serait connue. Plusieurs exemples servent à expliquer le maniement pratique du nomogramme; sa construction se base sur les diagrammes construits par H. Walden [1955/56] pour le calcul du mouvement de la mer et sur la formule (6) de ce travail.
