A parkinsonian kindred

Abstract

We report 8 cases of clinical idiopathic Parkinson disease in one kindred. None of the patients presented anomalous symptoms and all responded normally to routine L-Dopa therapy. On the basis of these findings we analyse the possible etiological role of heredity in Parkinson disease.

Si riportano 8 casi di morbo di Parkinson clinicamente idiopatico in una famiglia. Non vi erano caratteristiche anomale per ciò che concerne la sintomatologia e la risposta alla comune terapia con L-Dopa. Sulla bse di questi reperti gli autori analizzano la possibile componente eziologica dell'eredità nel morbo di Parkinson.
