Der Hornissenglasflügler,Aegeria apiformis Clerck (Aegeriidae, Lepidoptera) an Jungpappeln in Pflanzgärten und Baumschulen

Zusammenfassung

Starker Befall von Jungpappeln durch die Raupen des Hornissenglasflüglers,Aegeria apiformis Cl.(Aeger. Lepidopt.) gibt Veranlassung, erneut auf die Gefährlichkeit dieser Sesien-Art, insbesondere für Pflanzgärten, Baumschulen und Kulturen hinzuweisen.

Neben einer Besprechung bisheriger Veröffentlichungen über Lebensweise und Schadwirkung des Glasflüglers, werden Maßnahmen zu seiner Abwehr und Bekämpfung vorgeschlagen.

Summary

Mass attacks on young poplars by larvae of the hornet moth,Aegeria apiformis Cl.(Aegeriidae, Lepidoptera) give rise to call anew the attention to this nuisible insect. Especially poplars in nurseries and plantations become endangered.

Reference is made to former publications concerning the life history and noxiousness of this aegeriid (Clear-winged moth). Measures to control the hornet moth are to be proposed.

Résumé

Attaques graves aux jeunes peupliers par les chenilles de la sesie du peuplier,Aegeria apiformis Cl.(Aeg. Lepid.) donnent lieu à renvoyer de nouveau au danger qui existe particulièrement pour des jeunes peupliers dans les pépinières et les plantations.

Auprès d'un rapport des publications qui nous sont parvenues jusqu'à présent concernant la biologie et la nuisibilité de la sesie du peuplier des moyens de défense et de lutte sont proposés.
