Summary

Hemodynamic residua and sequelae of a number of different types have been reported following intraatrial repair of transposition. These include caval and pulmonary venous obstruction, interatrial shunts, left ventricular outflow tract obstruction, pulmonary vascular obstructive disease, tricuspid incompetence, and right ventricular dysfunction. This review represents an attempt to determine the current incidence and severity of these complications and to provide some insight into causation and prevention.
