Summary
Triploids were induced by cold shock in fertilized eggs ofRhodeus ocellatus ocellatus. The maximum percentage (95%) of triploidy was obtained from eggs treated at 5 min after fertilization. The triploids grew normally to adult size, and they were all sterile males.
