Deformations and rupture criteria under low-cycles fatigue

Paper describes the stress-strain dependence under cyclic loading for some metals and the fatigue-rupture criteria in connection with elasto-plastic stress redistribution in case of nonuniform state of stresses

Abstract

As a result of stress-strain diagram measurement under cyclic loading, the similarity conditions and appropriate analytical expressions were obtained. The elasto-plastic stress redistribution by means of this stressstrain relation was studied, and the quasistatic and fatigue-rupture conditions in connection with stress kinetics were established.
